My home-teacher is awesome! It is so fun to have a home teacher that I knew growing up. Kelly Brinkerhoff is a very busy person, with two jobs, a wife and four kids, the scout master calling, and whatever else he does that I don't know about! Somehow he manages to also take very good care of my family while Derek is away. Initially I asked for help just mowing the lawn...(I am fully capable once someone gets my lawn mower running, but I am apparently not strong enough to start it) but he said he would just come over and take care of it. (who am I to argue :) So the first time he came over he mowed the lawn and decided that it needed to be reseeded. Four days later he organized and recruited several men from the ward to help.
Working or standing....? :)

Adding more cow crap to the spreader

Cason Swinn watering the newly planted lawn. The lawn had to be watered so much so the water would get trapped under the fertilizer, and when the sun heats up the fertilizer it germinates the seeds faster instead of burning the lawn.
It only took them about an hour and a half to reseed and spread cow crap on the lawn. It looked better immediately although the smell was not pleasing to my neighbors or my kids :) I am so greatful for Kelly and the willing members of my ward to come and help take care of me and my family!

Matty was the only one of my kids who was out there the whole time. Anytime there is work to be done, Matty is right in the mix! I love that about him.
